Dan Birikwalira and Aggrey Kiirya could make return from injury in Sunday’s encounter with Calvary FC.
The Leopard’s leftback last played against Maroons when he limped off due to hamstring Injury.
Meanwhile the rightback who suffered a slight knock during training after Luzira has not made any appearance this season even though he appeared on substitute page of the first three league games.
The duo may come into contention when Arua Hill play Calvary FC according to head coach Hussein Mbalangu.
Oscar Agaba, however, will not be ready to feature as he recovers from a proximal tibia fracture, while Isaac Okello and Telvin Maina also remain sidelined along with the long-term absentees due to paper work and school engagements respectively.
Speaking after today’s last training match, Hussein Mbalangu told club media: “They (Dan and Kiirya) recovered well, I saw them yesterday when we came back and today in the training,”
“We may make changes because we are in the month of Ramadhan. We don’t expect people who are fasting to play because as a Muslim myself I know the energy playing requires so we may reserve them or see how we may use them but there maybe a slight change,” he said on expected changes.
Mbalangu went on to provide further team news with detailing the condition of Rashid Yakin who was the unfortunate victim of Mbale stones in the last game.
“I can’t confirm or deny Yakin’s availability because he is still improving from the face injury he incurred after been stoned but we are monitoring his condition while building him up mentally for the game.”
The gaffer’s talk is confirmation the team is largely fit and available for selection.
Calvary FC, meanwhile will be without their first choice goalkeeper Nadir Muhamed whose injury situation is likely to keep him off the entire first round according to sources from Yumbe but they’ll have a familiar face to Arua Hill Norman Angufindru in between the sticks. Julius Malingu and Geofrey are also said to doubtful.
