Hussein Mbalangu has heaped praise on Caeser Okhuti’s work ethic and has drawn comparison of the 30 year old’s work rate to a 17 year old.
Mbalangu also said Okhuti is instrumental in the campaign after the striker proved it again by scoring the only goal that broke the away goal jinx this season.
“That’s why Caeser is the captain. He is a very good man, he works like a 17 year old boy,” Mbalangu said.
“The way he works in the team, he plays, listens, controls the game is good.” He added.
The Arua Hill gaffer has shown his confidence and admiration in Okhuti’s practical leadership as he confessed the role the Cranes international plays in the pitch.
“As I told you, we are two coaches. I’m coaching outside, he is coaching inside. So he is very instrumental in our campaign and see the goal which he has scored, that is seniority. The way he jumped to head in the presence of defenders and keepers is very good.” Mbalangu added.
Before Okhuti’s only goal in Mbale Municipal Stadium against Mbale Heroes in a contest that ended 1-1 as Arua Hill secured the vital away point in the StarTimes FUFA Big League, the Leopards had played goalless away to Maroons in the league and a Uganda Cup game away to UPDF without scoring.
The skipper is now the club’s 2020/2021 season top scorer with three goals in five appearances in all competitions after scoring in 3-1 victory against Blacks Power, 3-0 victory against Kataka FC and 1-1 draw with Mbale Heroes.
