I Miss Football! – Taina
Telvin Maina has been out for a month with a groin injury sustained during training since early February.
Telvin was on the receiving end of a challenge from teammate, and the teenager is facing some spell on the sidelines as he recovers.
He was part of the squad that travelled with the team for preseason games in Luwero after it was thought the injury was grade one and the games would not be too early for him.
Unfortunately he didn’t play a game as his condition had exacerbated prompting his exclusion in games against the United teams, Bombo and Luwero at Kasana Kosovo Stadium and the trip to Arena of Visions against Ndejje University.
The teenager who following advise from medical experts has since been involved in light recovery training to give enough room for healing has admitted he is finding it difficult to accept the fate surrounding the injury.
Telvin has not been reticent to enunciate his impatience at the situation, telling Arua Hill media: “I miss football so much.”
“Some times I mismanage the condition by over stretching myself because I really want to get on pitch.” He added.
The midfielder has missed the last two local friendly games against Arua City and Ngozi Battalion FC.
Arua Hill SC will play a return game against Arua City on Wednesday yet it will again be too early for the Kenya youth international
