The Startimes Uganda Premier League match day 9 resumes this Sunday with Arua Hill Sports Club returning home to Barifa Stadium when they host Tooro United Football Club.

Arua Hill Sports Club will be hoping that their upturn of result continues against Tooro United as they seek to register first consecutive wins this season.

The focus on Sunday will be to earn a second home win and the fourth win of the season which could add our tally to thirteen points after 8 games.

Form Guide:

Both sides recently featured in the league competition and experienced contrasting results.

It was the Kongolo Boys who returned a positive result, defeating Busoga United 1-0 thanks to Alfred Leku’s lone goal at FUFA Technical Center on Tuesday 30th November 2021.

This was our third win of the season and we currently occupy the 8th place of the log with 10 points after 7 games.

Tooro United meanwhile are rooted in the 2nd place from the bottom of the league table with 4 points after 8 games.

The Roaring Lions were on the losing side on Tuesday and have gone six league games without registering a victory, with their last win dating as far back as October 23rd, beating Mbarara City 1-0 at Buhinga Stadium in Western derby courtesy of a goal from Marvin Oshaba.

Team News:

Arua Hill Sports Club welcome Samuel Ssekamatte and Gadafi Wahab who both missed our previous encounter against Busoga United.

On the injury front, head coach Sadiq Ssempigi has ruled out the duo of Innocent Maduka and custodian Anyama Richard due to respective injuries but the rest of the squads are available for selection.

This will be the first ever top-flight meeting between Arua Hill Sports Club and Tooro United Football Club.

The two sides met in the FUFA BIG LEAGUE finals last season and the Leopards emerged the winner after defeating Tooro United 1-0 thanks to the only goal from teenager Rashid Kawawa “Olu”
