Mbale Heroes vs Arua Hill SC: Team News

Arua Hill travel to Mbale Stadium to face Mbale Heroes in match day four of the FUFA Big League tomorrow. The game will be broadcast by StarTimes and will show live on Sanyuka TV at 4PM.

The Leopards look forward to restituting winning course after crashing out of Stanbic Uganda Cup following the one nil defeat to UPDF in Bombo last Saturday.

They hope to find comfort in the coming fixture as they aim to collect maximum points, at least going by the words of the head coach Hussein Mbalangu.

The Kongolo family has no fresh injury concerns in the 20-man team that travelled to Mbale on Monday but Mbalangu might have to evaluate the state of his squad before choosing on the starting XI for Thursday’s meeting with Mbale Heroes though it is likely he may not have changes.

“We had enough time to prepare for Mbale Heroes, the boys have recovered from the fatigue from UPDF game and now the players are okay,” Mbalangu told aruahillsc.ug

“We don’t have any injury, so I think we are very ready for the game,” he responded to questions regarding injuries before revealing the team that may play, “We shall not have any change, players in the last lineup will be the one to start because they are all okay and have worked on the mistakes especially Agau and Baden and even their attitude is high.”

When asked what must the boys do in order to emerge triumphant in the highly anticipated competitive encounter with Hussein Ali Kheri’s side, the gaffer said;

“We must work as a team just as stated in our philosophy and we must do so in both attacking and defending.

“We should not allow any loose marking because we saw the goal, we conceded on UPDF, we left some opponents unmarked so since that day we’ve been working on closing up opponents and disallowing anybody to have the ball, that will help us win the game.” He summarized.

Dan Birikwalira and Aggrey Kiirya have missed Arua Hill’s recent game with hamstring and knee knock problems and are still out, meanwhile Oscar Agaba remain sidelined.

Defender Isaac Okello and Midfielder Telvin Maina Irungu both have half-finished documentation whereas Aggrey Atandu and Brian Ade were not listed in the travel team to Mbale.

Mbale Heroes though lost the first leg of the Uganda Cup to Gaddafi progressed to the last 16 of the competition after winning the reverse fixture 4-2 on penalties but they remain winless in their first three games of the FUFA Big League as they lost to Gaddafi FC and draw with Calvary FC and Paidha Black Angels.
