Rashid Ayub Agau, born on 15th Nov 1997 in Arua, Uganda signed for Arua Hill SC on 1st October 2020 as a free agent from Maroons FC. He was produced to the world through club social media pages on 6th October 2020 and was the second Arua Hill player to be unveiled.
He operates primarily as a central striker but can be deployed as an attacking winger especially in the left midfield. He can also play as a support striker.
Agau, graduate of Arua Kids League joined Kampala Kids League in 2007 and would later win the Kampala U-14 City Tyres in 2007, the 2008 Gothia Cup in Sweden, the 2008 Tivoli Cup in Denmark.
The 24-year-old started his senior amateur career with now defunct Arua Central in 2010. He also played Post Primary football for St. Mary’s Kitende in 2011 and 2012 where he guided the school to two Copa Coca Cola titles and two East Africa Championship.
The striker also had spell with Onduparaka FC between 2014 and 2017 where he played a pivotal role in their promotion to the Uganda Premier League, but spent 2016/17 on loan with Doves All Stars before the takeover. He played for Maroons FC from 2018 to 2020 and scored 12 goals in 20 appearance for Mbili Mbili.
