Alfred Leku, born on 15th September 1997 in Maracha, Uganda, brings more than goals to the team. Physically well built, Leku is also blessed with good powerful shooting range. Although primarily a right footed player, he is able to shoot with the left foot, and with his height, he is decent in the air.

Leku, born in Maracha became head coach, Hussein Mbalangu’s eight addition of the 2020 transfer period. He was unveiled to the public through the club social media pages on the 16th of October.

Leku came through the ranks at Vipers SC and graduated from the Club’s academy St. Mary’s Kitende before making his senior debut in 2015 at the age of 18. He won the Uganda Cup with the Venom in 2016.

During his three years with the Entebbe Road side, Leku was loaned to Onduparaka FC for half a season in 2017/18 season, Express FC in the second half of the 2017/18 season before securing a permanent move to Botswana side, Jwaneng Galaxy FC in 2018/19. He made a return to the country after signing for Proline FC in 2019/20 season and signed for the Leopards on October 1st 2020.
