BIOGRAPHY

Dan Birikwalira, born on 15th Jan 1996 from Kyetume, Mukono signed for Arua Hill SC on 1st October 2020 as a free agent from Vipers SC. He was produced to the world through club social media pages on 4th October 2020 and was the first Arua Hill player to be unveiled.

Dan started his career in high school with St. Mary’s Kitende in 2008. He played for Rilley Packaging Mukono in 2010/11. He was a KJT player from 2011 to 2013 and signed for Vipers SC in 2014 where he spent six years. During his spell with Vipers SC, he spent time on loan with Bright Stars FC in 2018/19 and latterly in Mukono with Kyetume FC in 2019/20 season.

By the end of his loan spells, he became a free agent after Vipers opted to discontinue with him. The defender won two league titles, one FUFA Super Cup and one Stanbic Uganda Cup title with Vipers. He also registered tremendous success in High School and other competitions.

While with St. Mary’s Kitende as a captain, he helped them win two East Africa Championships in 2012 and 2013, two Copa Coca Cola titles in 2012 and 2013. Dan also captained Mawokota to 2013 Masaza Cup title, Captained Buganda to the 1st ever FUFA Drum title in 2018 and captained KJT to Gothia Cup in 2013 and Norway Cup in 2013.
