Paddy Muhumuza was born on 2nd March 1986 in Kampala, Uganda. The 35-year-old midfielder has a wealth of experience and has played for six clubs in different levels of football competition in a career spanning 21 years.
A dynamic, diminutive and disciplined player, Paddy is known for his unrelenting energy and excellent ball-winning abilities as a box-to-box midfielder. This is attributed to his strong positional sense, off the ball movement, and ability to read the game.
He has an admirable work rate, and is good at retrieving possession; to the advantage of team-mates so they can be put in goal scoring positions. He is also calm and composed mien on the pitch.
Much as he is principally known for his tactical awareness, intelligence, and the defensive aspect of his game, namely his ability to tackle and regain possession, intercept passes, and block shots, he is also capable of path-finding from inside his own half and is a methodical passer on the counter-attack.
Paddy started his career with 4th Division side Seeta Young in 1999, three seasons later, he moved to another 4th Division side, Jogoo Young where he also spent three seasons. He played for Fire Masters in 4th Division from 2005/06 to 2007/08 season before switching to Proline FC where he played his first top flight football from 2008/09 to 2010/11.
He then continued with his highest ranking football experience with Premier League side Lweza FC before transferring to Tooro United FC until when he opted for Arua Hill SC and was unveiled through the club social media pages on 10th October 2020.
