Rashid Muhamed joined Arua Hill SC in February 2021 from Uganda Premier League side Kyetume FC.
The lad from Moyo started his footballing career with Moyo Town Council in 2009/2010 before switching to Shamba Boys in the Big League the following season.
After a season, the well-built defender moved to Vurra FC in the Regional League in 2011/2012. He played for KJT Kabale in the Big League in 2012/13 before crossing boarders the following year to Al Hilal of South Sudan.
Rashid Muhamed rejoined Vurra FC when the club had earned promotion to the FUFA Big League in 2014/15. He played for Big League side Paidha Black Angels a season in 2015/16 before upgrading to Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC where he spend two seasons.
He left Onduparaka for another top flight side, Mbarara FC in 2018/19 and rejoined the caterpillars for his second stint in 2019/2020. His union with the Arua based side ended after a season following a move to Kyetume FC where he spend half a season in 2020/21.
Muhamed is a large, aggressive, quick and physically established yet smart defender. He is very vocal player and known for tackling, anticipation, aerial prowess and positioning.
He is a versatile player who besides central defense can play as a fullback and defensive midfielder.
