Arua Hill Sports Club head coach Sadiq Ssempigi has confirmed that the club have received a major injury boost ahead of our Startimes Uganda Premier League clash with Gaddafi Football Club.
Leopards’ skipper Toha Rashid picked up an injury during international duty. The problem kept him sidelined for 4 crucial SUPL encounters for Arua Hill Sports Club before the international break.
Speaking during pre-match conference, Arua Hill SC boss revealed that most of the players are okay apart from Alfred Leku who picked up a red card against URA FC before confirming that defender Toha Rashid is fully fit and available for selection ahead of Friday’s clash.
“Most of the players are okay only Leku who was suspended in the last game, he recieved a red card from the URA FC game but other players are available for selection,” Ssempigi told the club media.
“Additionally the team has been boosted with the return of team captain Toha Rashid who is fully fit and we expect him to feature in the game so we hope that his leadership will help the team to get maximum points tomorrow.”
Asked how prepared the team is Ssempigi said: ” I think we have had enough time to prepare very well, we have organised ourself and we want to go in that game when we dont have anything to worry about,”
“We have had enough preparation in the break and its time now to go and check what we have improved depending on our last game,”
Friday’s clash will see Arua Hill Sports Club lock horns with a Gaddafi FC who have been boosted by a new coach Peter Onen. The Soldier Boys who are in the 10th place of the log with 5 points after 5 games, managed to register a single win, two draws and two defeats in their previous SUPL encounters.
Under the leadership of Sadiq Ssempigi, Arua Hill Sports Club registered two wins, a draw and a single defeat.
The Kongolo Boys are currently rooted in the 6th place of the log with 7 points after 4 games.
