Onduparaka Vs Arua Hill – 4pm (Greenlight Stadium)
Another day a different encounter. In our way lie the most bitter of all rivals we have ever had. Our neighbours Onduparaka set up a fierce derby that will forever go down in the memory lane as one of the most anticipated. We share the same City and the battle for bragging rights will once again resume as the Kongolo boys look to seal ownership of West Nile and paint Arua red.
We are set to see a different encounter compared to the first leg that ended in a goalless draw at Barifa Stadium and left fans wanting for more. By the time of this second meeting, the Leopards have been in some fine form losing only one game in the second round and putting up some brilliant performances against quality opposition. Our latest prey being Mbarara City FC who failed to walk out of the Leopards den and got savoured. Alfred Leku is set to continue his fine form infront of goal and hunt for more in a bid to end the season on a high. 11 goals to his name already this campaign and facing an opponent that leaks goals is another good day for Leku to shine more so against our arch rivals.
In the second round, we have faced 5 opponents away from home and conceded a dismal 4 goals, keeping 3 clean sheets and 3 of those goals came in 1 game with our defence proving too solid to many strikers. The Leopards last lost an away game on the 12th of February against eventual champions Vipers SC roughly 10 game weeks ago.
We shall be missing captain Rashid Toha due to accumulated cards and Ibrahim Faizul who is out for the rest of the season. Ibrahim Magandaazi is set to deputise at center back with Bright Vuni and its also set to see if the gaffer will opt for the midfield trio of Wahab Gaddafi, Ibrahim Thembo and Allan Mugalu. Ivan Eyamu is in contention to start after his brilliant display against Mbarara City in our last outing and grabbing his first club goal for the season.
